Get excited! A brand new dance competition show is coming to your TV. When? Tonight!

NBC’s series, World of Dance premieres at 10PM EST tonight. The series is 10 episodes long and full of talented dancers from across the nation competing for a $1 million dollar prize for the taking. Check out why we’re excited to tune in and watch World of Dance:

1. The contestants are talented and versatile.

The show will feature 47 elite dance acts. Dancers will be divided into 3 groups at first: Junior (any size act, 17 years old and under), Upper (groups of 1-4, 18 and older) and Team (groups of 5+, 18 and older). From soloists, duos and trios to large groups, this series will feature many different dancers who are masters of various genres of dance including hip hop, krumping, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, clogging, ballroom and more!

2. The show is led by an amazing team of dance superstars.

Executive producer Jennifer Lopez knows a thing or two about how to own the dance floor. JLo will be judging the competition alongside Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough and R & B singer and performer Ne-Yo. The incredible Jenna Dewan-Tatum will be the host of the competition. Jenna has danced in major films including the original Step Up  movie. In addition to hosting the show, Jenna will also act as a mentor to the contestants.

3. We get to choose the winner.

The team of judges will narrow the competition down to 4 finalists. From there the competition is in our hands! We get to vote for the grand prize winner. All you have to do is hop onto Snapchat to submit your vote. Awesome!
