World of Dance Season 2 is well under way and we've brought you some of the most outstanding performances from the Qualifying round.  WOD supports diversity in dance styles, setting the bar high for competitors in hip hop, contemporary and jazz.  Here are a few of our favorites:

Something Different

"marInspired" really shook the judges (and the audience) during their breakthrough performance in the qualifiers.  Never have we seen two male performers dance so intimately, rawly and emotively together on TV as in this performance.  The dancers bring both a strength and vulnerability to their performance that leaves us remembering the unbound nature of love.

Tight & Technical

The Quad Squad really lives up to their name with gorgeous pirouettes, extension, flexibility and control!  These dancers are poised, with stunning posture as Derek Hough points out.  They really show what they can do within such a short piece and leave us wanting more of that yummy technique!

S-Rank brings the steez with their unique isolations and strength through musicality.  We love how uniformed they are, as well.  Check out that fancy footwork around 0:40 in.

Most entertaining

These young dancers from "The Lab" really know how to put on a show!  Dancing to a old school hip hop song, they make it their own with enough personality to conquer the world.  The bright colors, the energetic movement and the amazingly tight synch of this group have us in awe!  Not to mention that perfect head slide at 0:57!
