We feel so grateful, loved and taken care of during the holidays, that it only makes sense to give back and circulate the joy around!  Here are a few ways that you, too, can spread holiday cheer this season!

Donate old clothes

There's a sweater in your closet that you never wear or a pair of leggings that you outgrew. Most all of us have something in our closet that we don't wear or want anymore.  Donating your clothes to a local shelter, clothes closet or Goodwill is a surefire way that they go to good use. Old coats, sweatshirts, gloves, socks and warm items are most appreciated during the Holiday season. Your donation may help keep someone warm on a cold winters eve!

Participate in a Canned Food drive

This is a popular thing to do during the holidays, and there are a few different ways you can contribute! You can either choose to start your own drive, connect with a drive to help collect and distribute goods, or simply give a donation of non-perishable food.

Baking and crafting

The best gifts are often those that are hand made!  Bake or craft for the dancers and teachers at your school or dance studio. This way, you can give something to everyone without breaking the bank.  Plus, it will have a personal touch.

Dance for your community

Consider performing at a local retirement home, Christmas tree lighting, or town parade.  Sharing your love of dance brings joy to everyone around you! And that's like the easiest gift for us to give.

Write love letters to your mentors, friends, parents or teachers

Your love don't cost a thing (thanks J-Lo!) Which means you don't have to spend a dime to spread the love this season. This is the perfect time of year to write thoughtful, caring notes to those you admire and love.  Just a few simple words, which take a few simple moments and are taken to heart and cherished forever.  Give and you shall receive.  Love is the reason for the season!

May your holiday be filled with joy, magic and of course, dance!
